Meet Dr. Barbra Katerberg
Dr. Barbra Katerberg brings over 30 years of clinical practice experience in occupational therapy, spanning both fields of healthcare and education. She notably works as an assistant professor at Davenport University, teaching courses in the Masters in Occupational Therapy program. Her courses pertain to pediatrics, evidence-based practice and research.
Prior to working 6 years in higher education, Dr. Katerberg spent 12 years working as a therapist in the medical setting, and 12 years working within the public school system focusing on child development, early intervention, and supporting disabled children and their families to reach their full learning potential. She has also taught internationally in both Ethiopia and Uzbekistan.
Radiant Family Therapies is her private practice, where she can continue to make a difference in the community helping children with special needs and their families.
